S/Y Goxsheim - Summer trips with North Cape

Our summer sailing trips will not follow the wake of the “Hurtigruta”. It will probably not be less beautiful and spectacular from that reason – just a stronger experience. Simply because our choices of where to sail will be wider and because Mother Nature will come a lot closer to us. If the wind is on our side, we are going to travel the silent way. In the beautiful, magic and infinite that gives strength to the contrasts of the landscape of Northern-Norway. And without contrasts would – as we all know – our existence have been grey.

During our legs we will visit places, with and without people, you maybe not would have been able to visit otherwise, and maybe places that not too many people before you have seen? We will drop the anchor in hidden bays and coves, stay overnight on land in the traditional Saami tent lavvu, explore the surroundings etc. We will also have several opportunities to harvest from what Mother Nature is willing to give away, and also observe the rich fauna along our coast.

During our cruise we will visit the most of the “official” Northern Norway, from Bodø in the South-West to Honningsvåg in the North-East, via islands, fjords, straits, North Cape etc. Our voyages will mainly have focus at the “unknown” parts of Northern-Norway. We believe that it is in these places the experiences are. We think that it is in these places that the good memories are being gathered. And this we do not say to “hurt” the “official” Northern-Norway. As said before – we are going there too!

The prices mentioned in our website include full board (big breakfast, big lunch, 2 course dinner, non alcoholic beverages, some fruit and snacks) and lodging (fully prepared small double/twin cabins, towels etc), harbour fees, diesel etc. All you need to bring along is suitable clothes and personal toilette requisites. Flights and alcohol are not included. Children under 14 are half price.
